Feisty runaways Wilma (Virna Lisi) and Clio (Clio Goldsmith) hook up with a handsome drifter and help him achieve his dream of opening a roadhouse in the tragic erotic drama La Cicala (1980). Dubbing the club “The Cricket”, the three friends settle into an affable routine, but romantic passions and jealousies eventually flare up, sabotaging the business and their personal relationships.
