A word of advise: Don't expect very complicated plot with this one. Just like in many others Nikkatsu movies, the script of SNAKE AND WHIP is based on writings of Dan Oniroku, famous novelist dealing with S&M erotica. What we are about to see is more a dirty old man's fantasy than anything else. Knowing (and accepting) that from the start, we should appreciate Shigoro Ishimura's movie for what it is.

Young, ravishingly beautiful girl (Ran Masaki) accepts a lucrative job as a secretary. Pretty soon company boss makes a pass at her in an abrupt manner. When outraged girl slaps him in the face, the man deliberately plans a revenge. Soon the unsuspecting girl falls into a trap and is forced to become his sex-slave! Long accustomed to S&M practices, the boss (we can properly call him "Master" from now on) will stop at nothing to humiliate the poor girl and to make her feel like the common animal.

What follows next can be described as a highly sophisticated BDSM catalog. As always in pinku eiga, a bondage show is involved, but that's not everything "Snake And Whip" has to offer. There's much, much more, all of it absolutely immoral and twisted. I won't say anything else, as it should stay a bit mysterious for the future viewers. Just take my word for it, you won't be disappointed!

Shigoro Ishimura is not yet as recognizable as his few pinku colleagues (Teruo Ishii, Yasuharu Hasebe and Norifumi Suzuki), but with such impressive output it's probably just a matter of time. He's a very competent director. Judging by his two efforts that I saw (the other being ALL WOMEN ARE WHORES), he doesn't shy away from showing extreme sexual violence on screen, and that should win him a lot of fans amongst sleaze aficionados. Ran Masaki, female star of the movie, was also an object of severe humiliation in BEAUTIFUL TEACHER IN TORTURE HELL (1985). She must be one of the most stunning ladies of the genre (my other favorite is Rei Okamoto). Her pretty, noble face and firm, large breasts truly are a sight to behold

Dorothea, a 16-year-old bourgeois girl from Hamburg, plays with her friends of both sexes, imitating the production of adult movies...
DOROTHEAS RACHE begins with the characters talking directly to the camera and thus us, the viewers. But this is only one of the many, many pleasantly weird things you'll discover when watching this film. Right at the beginning we learn that Dorothea, who introduces herself as a 16 year old girl, has just made love to a Martian. And she even has a groovy, smoking meteorite to prove it. The parents are concerned if the pill will work in the case of interstellar sex ... The rest of the film follows Dorothea as she tries to learn more about love (both emotionally and physically) and ends up being abused again and again by an amazing parade of creeps and freaks before Jesus Christ himself pops up to give her some good advice ... Did I mention that this film is weird? The thing that cracked me up the most was Dorothea's father who runs a firm that produces "laughing bags". That's some kind of small mechanism that's in a metal box and is then put into a bag. When you shake the bag you are treated to hysterical laughter ... Awesome, just awesome! If only contemporary German cinema were as fascinating as this 1972 film

Liberated '70s couple seduce another couple into experimentation with bisexuality and group-sex.

"Score" is more or less a period piece now, filmed as it was in that post-sexual liberation/pre-AIDS window when it seemed that sexual, political and aesthetic freedom were essentially linked. The film is a manifesto for sexual liberation purely, brushing only briefly by sexuality's darker aspects (the somewhat creepy Mike, and a certain core hollowness in Elvira and Jack's marriage). The characters are psychologically simplistic (Betsy's nun fixation, Eddie's glaringly obvious repressed homosexuality), but--important in a film of this type--extremely likeable. Claire Wilbur and Gerald Grant are particularly good in their roles.

All of this is wrapped up in good-natured sex and spot-on stoned dialogue. Even the music's entertaining--particularly the early-Rolling Stones ripoff that functions as a recurring motif and perhaps as well the goofy thematic heart of the film.

The trailer for "Score" recommends, "Watch it with someone you want to excite!" Well, it might not be as libidinally exciting now as it was thirty years ago, but it's still fun, and sweet, and highly recommended.

Tobacco Roody is about a back-woods family, not unlike The Beverly Hillbillies, who do pretty much nothing but get laid. Well, they also drink a lot of Moonshine. Mose loves his daughters, a lot, but he loves his adopted daughter, Tootie, just a little more. Even the wife is OK. Tootie's sisters hate her. because she gets all the attention, so no one will play with her. Not to worry, Tootie, Mose knows you're special. Meanwhile, the real daughters have found their own specialness, with each other, in the creek, as well as the barn, and the wife, Liz (who looks no older than the daughters) is busy "paying the rent." Somewhere in between the sex sessions, and drinkin' sessions, they manage to squeeze in a little dialog, which turns out to be the most entertaining part.

Come to think of it, this is exactly what you would expect.

Jeepers!! This stuff'll kill ya. I didn't know this was a full-blown, soft-core porn. I thought Tobacco Roody just sounded like a funny B-movie, which happened to have a few sex scenes, but this one, pretty much, has one purpose. As far as soft-core porn goes, this is still an improvement over what they put out these days. As far as B-movies go, Tobacco Roody can be hilarious, at times, especially if you've been drinking

Junior comes from the country to Hollywood where he soon ends up living in a house full of prostitutes...

Midnight Plowboy is one of director Bethel G. Buckalew's greatest films in his all too brief career. While not as good as Boys Will Be Boys, Midnight Plowboy is a hilarious spoof of the pretensious 1969 film that stole the Oscar from Butch Cassidy and the Sundance Kid. John Tull and Nan Cee are the breakout stars of this film and should have had productive careers in the industry except for the public's stupidity of not noticing true visionaries of film. The public prefers films like the Godfather and the French Connection. This movie parodies such so called serious classics and shows true depth and symbolism that is only matched today by a genius like Andy Sadaris. Midnight Plowboy is a true forerunner of such films like the Toxic Avenger and the Vice Academy. The Wizard of Oz was not a success when it was initially released in 1939, why not Midnight Plowboy? Mark my words, in the near future Bethel G. Buckalaw will take his place next to Orson Welles as a cinematic genius.

Les chiennes (1973)

Les chiennes (1973)

Les chiennes (1973)
Genre: Erotic
Country: France | Director: Michel Lemoine
Language: French | Subtitles: None
Aspect ratio: 1.66:1 | Length: 84mn
Dvdrip Divx Avi - 640x400 - 25fps - 700mb

Lemoine's decision to cast himself in the male lead was probably not as narcissistic as it might seem. Still, filling the role of macho adventurer Eric, who takes a job as male "companion" (I suppose the term "escort" had not yet been coined) in order to fund his next worldwide expedition, makes him extremely vulnerable to not altogether unjustified howls of derision. Summoned to the mansion of a prospective client, the mysterious and notoriously hard to please Viriane (indelibly portrayed by his Mrs., the supremely stylish Janine Reynaud, a former fashion model for designer Jean Patou), he's initially dismissed with little fanfare until he creeps into her bedroom at night to, well, "convince" her of his abilities by strapping her to the four-poster with matching scarlet scarves and thoroughly ravishing her. In fairy tale fashion (a recurring motif throughout that may have worked better in Breton's original prose), she allows him to stay as her lover for one month, giving him full access to the castle grounds save for a hunting lodge she's convinced is haunted. A series of kinky parlor games ensues with a collection of story book archetypes revolving around the central couple, like the disfigured gamekeeper Pierre (wild-haired Yves Marouani) who Viriane admits was a former lover for the course of one summer and adoring girl servant Lisbeth (breathtakingly beautiful, exotic Latana Decaux, who sadly seems to have fallen below radar after this single shot at sex stardom) who jumps at Viriane's slightest for a chance to share her well-frequented bed. Complications arise however when Viriane's kid sister, the apparently innocent though equally perfidious Tessa (scrumptious Nathalie Zeiger, who had already co-starred with Reynaud in Daniel Daert's excellent LES FELINES, making them both "kittens" as well as "bitches" !), comes home to visit from boarding school. Off limits to Eric, his very life the price to pay should he breach their agreement, Tessa soon decides her sibling's hired hand should take her maidenhead, an offer he finds impossible to pass up. Predictably, tragedy strikes as this tale's evil queen unleashes her all-consuming wrath, with a cruelly ironic twist
